It is suitable for use on buildings, stadia, civic and convention centers, multi-story facades and architectural features of similar scale; as well as bridges and landmarks; memorials and monuments.
Product Description: POWERSHINE D represents the pinnacle of high output lighting instruments for large-scale architectural feature projects. The system combines two high performance projectors on a single mounting frame. The twin bank configuration requires fewer fixture locations, resulting in reduced installation costs while minimizing visual clutter. The individual projectors are independently tiltable, allowing coverage of tall structures from low to high, or aligned in tandem when higher illumination levels are needed.
POWERSHINE D combines 96 high power LEDs per head in RGBW, dynamic, warm, or cool white for a total of 192 LEDs for the system. The high output system delivers 19,288 RGBW lumens, when using 8° spot optics with 6500K white. Choice of optics include five symmetric distributions ranging from spot to extra wide beams, as well as narrow and wide elliptical distributions for expanded design flexibility. Elliptical beam distributions may be factory set to horizontal or vertical orientation. The individual projectors in the assembly may be specified with different distributions to achieve customized lighting effects. Light control accessories include barn doors, full or angled glare shields, or louvers. Optional spreading diffusers expand the palette of distributions with customizable optics.
POWERSHINE D features thermally isolated LED drivers for enhanced longevity. The integral drivers accept input voltage from 120v through 277v at 50/60Hz for simplified installation. On-board controls for the RGBW and dynamic white models have several modes of operation, including stand-alone automatic sequencing, master-satellite, or interface with external DMX controller. The luminaires have a continuous dimming range from 0% to 100%. Automatic over-temperature protection and self-resetting fuse are standard features.
Options include the proprietary Polar Edition for areas where snow and ice are prevalent. The integral de-icing system enables POWERSHINE D to illuminate unhindered despite snow and ice by heating the lens. Custom mounting options are also available on request. All hardware is stainless steel.
Construction & Finishes: Individual POWERSHINE D housings are die-cast aluminum, measuring 21" wide x 13.5" high x 7.5"deep. The adjustable yoke is fabricated from steel and allows for surface mounting with vertical adjustment capability of +/- 90°. Lens is clear tempered glass. The luminaires are finished in scratch-resistant polyester powder coat. All hardware is stainless steel.
POWERSHINE D high power factor electronic driver accepts input voltage range from 120v through 277v at 50/60Hz. Operating temperature range is -40°F to 122°F (-40°C to 50°C). Power consumption is 296 watts per single RGBW luminaire for total system wattage of 594 watts. Power consumption for dynamic, warm, or cool white single luminaires is 247 watts for total system wattage of 494 watts. The IP66 rated POWERSHINE D is CSA Certified for Wet Locations.
