This powerful OEM design tool utilizes a mechanism project concept to collect and save axes load information, automatically calculate application results, and compare those results against a robust database catalog of Kollmorgen products to quickly identify the optimized linear or rotary motion system solutions to meet specific machine builder application requirements. Version 6.1.0 features a number of product updates, including the company's new KBM(TM) Series Frameless Brushless Motors and AKD(TM) Servo Drive Family to help simplify the otherwise potentially tedious task of specifying frameless motors and drive systems.
MOTIONEERING 6.1.0 includes a user-friendly Help file that explains program functions, definition of terms, and algorithms used to perform application results. Versatile units-of-measure options for mechanism and motion profile data-entry, along with the ability to convert data into other available units, make this a convenient tool for international machine designs, too. And in rotary applications, MOTIONEERING 6.1.0 is even flexible enough to sum the effects of multiple axes of motion for rightly sizing the power supply and shunt regeneration.
