New High Performance AC Brushless Drive Systems For Global Shape-Cutting Applications
Cleveland, Ohio. The new BURNY® ServoPak® AC8, from Cleveland Motion Controls, is a brushless high performance AC servodrive system for shape-cutting that provides 8 Amps of continuous output current and is capable of up to l kW continuous and 2kW peak power per axis. Globally compatible, it is available in 2-axis or 3-axis performance-matched drive packages specially designed for demanding shape-cutting applications and for any cantilever or gantry machine.
The ServoPak AC8 is a digital AC brushless sinusoidal servo design that is customer configurable to any output power requirement. Extensive diagnostic LED indicators monitor all operating functions.
The ServoPak AC8 includes Windows-based BURNY MotionView Software that provides users with fast and easy set-up, easy servomotor tuning, and real-time viewing. It also enables users to download the latest software updates off-line.
The ServoPak AC8 has been specifically designed for shape-cutting applications, both thermal cutting as well as for waterjet. It is available in 2-axis or 3-axis packages that are performance-matched to exact customer requirements, including BURNY MotionView Software for set-up and tuning, to drive amplifiers, to servomotors and encoders, and to gearboxes and motor mounts. It is manufactured with surface-mount technology to assure reliable performance and designed with a heavy-duty enclosure to accommodate harsh environments. There is also a supervisory fault monitoring system.
The BURNY products line of Cleveland Motion Controls includes CNC shape-cutting controls for oxyfuel, plasma, laser, and waterjet cutting machines.
