SIMI VALLEY, CA -- Hirose, a leader in the development of innovative connector solutions, has launched the DF59M Series, a low-profile wire-to-board connector suitable for use in high-power LED lighting applications. The single-pole DF59M Series connector offers a high current capacity of 6 Amps at 350 V AC/DC and accommodates 22-28 AWG wire. This tiny connector features a narrow 5.9mm (0.23") x 2.6mm (0.10") footprint and low profile that minimizes LED light shadowing.
The horizontal-mating DF59M Series has a snap-in mating structure that provides a positive lock strength of 16N and two clear indicators of secure mating: an audible click and tactile snap. With three points of contact, the connector provides optimum contact reliability by stabilizing contact resistance.
