Medium-Range Single Beam Safety Control for Gaseous Environments

FREMONT, CA - Scientific Technologies, Inc. introduces the BeamSafe III-EP - a compact, explosion proof single-beam safety control system. The BeamSafe III-EP is engineered for access guarding in industries such as chemicals, wastewater, distilling pharmaceuticals and other hazardous process locations with gaseous environments.

The BeamSafe III-EP IS rated for Class 1, Group C and D explosive environments - the US standard for atmospheres represented by intermittent or continuous presence of Ethylene, and those represented by Propane. They are housed in a rugged cast aluminum enclosure designed specifically to contain an ignition of explosive gas. The enclosure meets UL886, NEC articles 500, 501 and 502, and CSA.
