This means that you get the highest possible level of static elimination. The R50 uses a new, patented technology which allows the bar to produce greater amounts of ions, and project the ions greater distances than other bars. The bars high output also makes it effective on web speeds up to 2,500 feet per minute and often allows the bar to be mounted at distances up to 6" (or more) way from the target material. The R50's rigid structure allows for easy mounting over very wide webs. The open channel design makes cleaning a snap.
The bar is available in an optional R51 version which has a high voltage cable that can be unplugged from the bar for easy maintenance. The cable on both the R50 and the R51 is metal shielded, reducing EMI and RFI and allowing easy installation against metal machine frames.
The NEW M167 power supply includes a static bar monitoring circuit that detects arcing and conductive bar contamination conditions. Lamps display voltage input, voltage output, condition OK status and arcing conditions.
