SFE Filters Offer Expanded End Cap Selection to Fit New Housings and Retrofit Existing Housings

Meissner's Small Flow Element (SFE) filters can be specified with a variety of adapters for installation into new housings or retrofit applications. Adapter selection includes an industry standard 116 O-ring, 222 O-rings and 226 O-rings. A specialized SK adapter version is also available for Meissner SKR filter housings, or retrofit of competitive housings that require a skirt-flange sealing mechanism.
The new filters are available in lengths of 2.5 in. (6,4 cm) or 5 in. (12,7 cm). Media options available for specification include PVDF, PES, PP, PTFE, borosilicate glass microfiber, PP microfiber, and PP depth.

Filtration ratings can be specified from 0.04 to 99 µm. SFE filters are specifically designed for point-of-use filtration and small batch processing of liquids and gases, where flow requirements are less than 3 gpm (11 L min-1) or 60 scfm (102 Nm3hr-1).
Providing excellent chemical compatibility and extremely low extractables, the pleated small-area filters offer the greatest assurance of filtration performance, reliability and security. Meissner Technical Services (MTS) is available to help select the optimal SFE filter for end user's applications. Water and air flow rate charts are also
available to help provide sizing guidelines.
