Pam Fastening Introduces "One-Source Package" for Frame Assembly
CHARLOTTE, N.C.--- PAM Fastening introduces a new "one-source package" for wide moulding applications that includes the Brevetti PRISMA MAXI saw and S30ME joining machine.
This package is ideal for retail frame shops producing 50 or more frames per week and for customers who demand wide mouldings. The PRISMA MAXI saw offers precise, quality moulding cuts, while the S30ME utilizes a unique "Clamp Once System" to ensure accurate joining. They both boast consistent quality, a large capacity for cutting and joining moulding as wide as 7", and low dust and noise.
The Brevetti PRISMA MAXI saw offers an extended cutting capacity with an ability to cut up to 7" wide by 3 1/4" high mouldings. Using small blades, the PRISMA MAXI causes very little vibration, produces a better miter and creates a low level of dust and noise. The PRISMA MAXI is easy to use, making it ideal for retail environments with minimal training needed. The saw is equipped with two 275mm saw blades, two moulding support arms/fences 29 ½" in length and a 78 ¾" measuring scale.
The Brevetti S30ME joiner's "Clamp Once System" involves an independent hold down clamp and nailing function that allows the user to clamp one time and maneuver the frame mouldings for multiple nailing positions. This feature gives the user more consistent quality, leading to less waste and more profit. It has a large stroke capacity of 7 inches, making it capable of joining a wide variety of mouldings. Other features include double vertical hold clamps operated by a pneumatic foot pedal, adjustable tilt table and a cabinet for conveniently storing
extra fasteners or tools.
The S30ME frame joiner can be purchased with the standard PV Brevetti nailing head, which uses V-shaped fasteners for joining a wide variety of materials. The new NP nailing head, a strip-corrugated fastener, is also available for use with this machine and is the strongest fastener offered for joining MDF, HDF, and
other hardwoods.
