Linde Canada Launches Line of Linde Branded Safety Glasses

Mississauga, Canada – Linde Canada Ltd  has introduced a line of Linde branded safety glasses to the Canadian industrial market. The new product offerings, in three distinct styles, are part of a private label program for its industrial products that Linde Canada started in 2008.

Linde Canada Ltd is part of Linde North America, which is a member of The Linde Group, a world leading gases and engineering company.

Marc-André Rioux, safety business manager for Eastern Canada, said, “Our goal with personal protective equipment is to clothe and protect workers from the head to toe with our high quality Linde branded product line. The new line of safety glasses is a perfect complement to our line of Linde branded safety products, including protective footwear, gloves, shirts, pants, helmets and high-visibility safety clothing, available in all 70 Linde branches across Canada.”

Each of the safety glasses in the new line is made of 100 percent polycarbonate lenses for scratch resistance and provides protection from excessive glare, as well as 99 percent protection from harmful UV-A and UV-B rays. “The entire product line meets all Canadian Safety Association standards,” said Rioux.

The economical GS1000 glasses are general purpose eyewear for indoor applications that require impact protection and feature a wrap-around single lens providing full panoramic view. The intermediate-range GS1600 glasses offer the same panoramic design, but are more lightweight and comfortable.

The high-end GS3000 glasses provide a stylish, ergonomic frame with sleek polycarbonate lenses for the ultimate in protection and a newly-designed, adjustable ventilated nosepiece that allows heat to dissipate from the nose bridge to reduce fogging. The high quality optics offer excellent clarity and no distortion.
