LEMO Announces a New Outer Shell Design for their S Series Connectors
LEMO, a global leader in the design and manufacture of precision custom connection solutions has recently redesigned the outer shell for the popular S Series with LEMO’s iconic “chocolate block” look as shown below:
The S Series uses the half-moon insert configuration and is fully compatible with the existing S Series connectors that have been selling in the market since the early 1960’s. Both the straight plug and free receptacle now use the same collet as LEMO’s popular B Series, offering a slightly different cable range than the previous S Series. LEMO’s S Series is available in Sizes: 0S, 1S and 2S for cables ranging from 1.4mm to 9.9mm and offers multipole contacts from 2 to 10, as well as unipole, coax, triax and multiconcentric configurations.
