New Rota-Flex Rotary Indexer for Passive Flexible Tooling
The Welker Rota-Flex is a positive lock mechanical indexer for trunnion fixtures, model change-over tooling, and small dial tables. It provides low cost, secure, repeatable positioning in 30-degree increments. Ideal for palletized systems, the Rota-Flex does not require power, additional controls or sensing, and is suited for horizontal or vertical applications. The spring loaded self-locking mechanism can be passively actuated by robot, manual tool or pneumatic foot pedal/hand button. The Welker Rota-Flex can run multiple models on geo pallet assembly lines, saving on pallet cost and storage while improving production throughput.
