Original Press Release:

Jammes Industrie Is Launching The First Rolling Machine For Sheet Metal Cones With Polygon-Shaped Cross Sections

JAMMES INDUSTRIE, French manufacturer of sheet metal rolling machines, has just launched its new CNC roller onto the market: the ROLLEXPRESS CNC - CONE. This innovation makes it possible to roll-in a single revolution-conical parts which not only have a round shape, but which also and above all have triangular, square, trapezoidal, or other varied polygon-shaped cross sections. This patented machine is the first in the world enabling such a feat.

Thanks to the CNC, changing a cone-rolling program takes only 15 seconds. The product design is changed without any tooling or dismantling, saving time and therefore working with fewer qualified operators present.

The machine, which can yield up to 240 pieces per hour, adapts to all customer requests for producing customized parts of all sizes. It has thus enabled the manufacture of catalytic converters for competition motorbikes, but also has a great many applications in all sectors of industry, whether for capital goods or consumer goods.

JAMMES INDUSTRIE will be exhibiting at the following trade shows this year: EUROBLECH 2006 in Hanover from Oct. 24 to 28, and FABTECH 2006 in Atlanta from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2.
