Dyne-A-Cam® Roller Cam Units Engineered for Minimum Service Life of One Million Cycles


Brecksville, OH-Hyson Products introduces the latest generation of the Dyne-A-Cam® roller cam, now with three models engineered for a minimum service life of one million cycles. The roller cams are ideal for piercing and flanging operations. Hyson Products is a division of Associated Spring, a business unit of Barnes Group Inc. (NYSE:B)

The three Dyne-A-Cam roller cam models offer a range of piercing forces: RC2-30 at 30 kN (3.37 tons), RC2-50 at 50 kN (5.62 tons), and RCP2-150 at 150 kN (16.86 tons). Each can be mounted at any angle, with a 50° angle required between a user-supplied driver and the motion of the cam. Other features include precision guiding for more off-center loading and upside-down installation, built-in return stroke dampening, simple punch attachment, heavy-duty roller bearing to transfer force from driver to cam, and maintenance-free operation. Return force on all models is generated by Hyson gas springs.
