Strip Steel Thickness Tolerance of +/- 0.00025 Inch Offered by Greer Steel

Dover, OH - A tight cold rolled strip steel thickness tolerance of +/- 0.00025" is available from Greer Steel to help manufacturers make higher quality parts. By providing these consistent tight material tolerances, manufacturers can be assured that settings on production equipment such as stamping presses, will produce the same part quality level from the first part produced to the last.
Greer provides this thickness tolerance on low carbon, high carbon and alloy steels in grades from 1006 to 1095 from 0.020" to 0.187" thick. A variety of surface finishes including high luster Best Bright, Regular Bright, dull and matte are available, as well as various tempers and edge types.
Greer Steel, founded in 1917, produces cold rolled strip steel to customer specifications including various grades, surface finishes, edge finishes, widths and lengths.
