Coaxial Resonator Oscillator Offers Excellent Tuning Linearity and Low Phase Noise for Point to Multipoint Radios

SAN DIEGO, May 1, 2006: Z-Communications, Inc. introduces their new RoHS compliant coaxial resonator based VCO, CRO1877A-LF with the frequency range of 1835-1920 MHz. The CRO1877A-LF offers incomparable phase noise performance of -111dBc/Hz @ 10 kHz offset from the carrier. This unique design has excellent tuning linearity with a typical tuning sensitivity of 22 MHz/V and covers the entire band between 0.5- 4.5 V. This new model has very low pulling (<0.5 MHz/V) and pushing (<0.5 MHz) which makes it an ideal choice for applications where signal stability, tuning linearity, and low phase noise are critical. CRO1877A-LF is designed to guarantee full performance over the extended operating temperature range of -40º to 85 ºC.
