New "Brainlink System(TM)" Coordinates Equipment For More Efficient Testing
Souderton, PA-February 26, 2002- Amplifier Research has created the software and a family of System Controllers (the SC 1000 Series) that connect and coordinate multiple pieces of RF test equipment. Multiple amplifiers, antennas, signal generators, directional couplers, and spectrum analyzers or receivers can now be linked in a coordinated system, which AR has named the Brainlink System(TM).
By purchasing a system from AR, customers can deal directly with the leading manufacturer of amplifiers and antennas for RF testing. With more than 30 years in the industry, AR has a thorough knowledge of testing procedures and equipment, and is the ideal source for providing complete testing "solutions." The AR Brainlink System enables a range of emissions and susceptibility tests to be conducted without manually changing cable feeds or equipment settings. Because the Brainlink System automatically routes signals to and from the appropriate test equipment, a user can now conduct a series of tests from start to finish with just a push of button. This not only saves time
and improves efficiency; it also reduces the possibility of causing damage while changing cables. In addition, the System makes it possible for less experienced users to conduct a full test sweep.
The AR Brainlink System is currently able to control up to four amplifiers, four antennas, four directional couplers, three signal generators and a spectrum analyzer or receiver for use in a single test set up. The flexible software enables the Brainlink System to include both AR and non-AR equipment.
System components can be purchased separately to automate and improve an existing system, and, of course Brainlink is available as a complete, integrated system.
