U.S. Silica Introduces InnoProp® Python RCS

New Resin Coated Proppant Delivers Best-In-Class Value

HOUSTON – U.S. Silica Holdings, Inc. today announced the introduction of InnoProp® Python RCS, a new high-performance resin coated proppant designed to increase the production of oil and gas wells in an economical and efficient manner.  Independent tests confirm that InnoProp® Python resin coated sand prevents proppant flowback to the well-bore with high-end conductivity and strength.  With U.S. Silica's extensive network of transloads and access to Class-1 railroads, InnoProp® Python resin coated sand can be delivered to locations within 100 miles of more than 80% of today's active drilling rigs.

"With the  pressures of today's oil and gas pricing environment, completion engineers are seeking economical means to increase well performance without sacrificing quality, or utilizing  less superior products. U.S. Silica has a long history of producing and delivering high-quality proppants and InnoProp® Python RCS is no exception," said Don Weinheimer, vice president and general manager of U.S. Silica's Oil and Gas division.

"The key to producing a quality resin coated proppant begins with its substrate.  InnoProp® Python RCS utilizes our premium U.S. Silica White® sand, which ensures quality and consistency in every shipment. Our proprietary formula was developed in-house by our team of scientists and engineers. This technical team is available to work with completion engineers on frac design to provide advice and assistance on proppant selection," noted Weinheimer.

InnoProp® Python RCS is available in all mesh sizes utilized in today's frac designs and is recommended in all formations with net closure stresses up to 10,000 psi.
