One Relay Covers 90% Control Switching Applications

A new concept in relay construction provides an economical solution to most control switching functions used today. Kuhnke's new Quattro relay is the same physical size
as a 5-Ampere Ice Cube relay, but has a 10-Ampere max. rating and is able to switch currents as low as 10 milli-amps. Four form C contacts provides versatility. New contact materials as well as solderless circuit paths and individual contact chambers contribute to this relay's wide range of applications.

Economy- One relay that can switch very low power and has a 10 Ampere rating will cut inventory requirements, save time in locating the right relay for an application and simplify ordering, all at a reasonable price.

Interchangeability- The Quattro (Type 114) relay fits standard 4 pole Ice Cube relay sockets* so it's completely interchangeable with existing relays.

Space Saving- Compact 10 Ampere relays take up half the panel space and because of the 114's wide application capability, there's hardly a need to incorporate other special types of relays. That makes panels smaller, neater, and easier to test.

Ratings- Minimum rating- 10 milliamps at 5 Volts. Maximum rating: 10 Amperes at 250 Volts. All common coil voltages available, coil power consumption- DC: 1 watt / AC: 1.2 VA. Operating times-Pick up: 10 millisec. / Dropout 10 millisec.

Configuration- 4 Pole form C contacts. Relay size compatible with 3 or 5 Ampere rated Miniature Ice Cube relays.

* When mounting the relay on existing sockets, check the current carrying capacity of the socket. Do not exceed the relay socket's specified ampere ratings. Kuhnke's Ice Cube relay sockets are rated 10 Amperes.

Construction- Unique internal construction minimizes current paths inside the relay resulting in less resistance and heat. Internal relay faults are minimized. Individual contact chambers isolate each circuit to eliminate flashover. Dust buildup is virtually eliminated. A new contact material allows for switching of very low voltage and amperes without the need for gold or bifurcated contacts.

Standards - The 114 relay meets all major World Standards including UL, CSA, IEC, VDE and CE.
