Radiometer Head offers flat spectral response.

Press Release Summary:

Suited for power measurement of broadband light sources, model PD300-BB consists of one photodiode-based detector head with flat spectral response from 400-1,000 nm. Thin, low-profile head contains 10 x 10 mm aperture with response time of 0.2 sec and low noise level of ±2 pW. Suited for use in Radiometry, product has wide dynamic range that allows it to measure from 50 pW to 8 mW of power.

PD300-BB Radiometer Head Offer Flat Spectral Response

Wilmington, MA September, 2003...Ophir Optronics, Inc. announces the introduction of the model PD300-BB, a photodiode based detector head with a flat spectral response from 400nm - 1000nm. The PD300-BB is ideally suited for power measurement of broadband light sources.

The PD300-BB has a wide dynamic range, which can measure from 50 picowatts up to 8 milliwatts of power. It is a thin, low profile head, which contains a 10mm x 10mm aperture, with a response time of 0.2 seconds, and a low noise level of ±2pW, making it ideal for use in Radiometry. The Model PD300-BB is fully compatible with Ophir Optronics' Orion, Nova and Laserstar displays.
