At ATS we pride ourselves in developing software that is constantly moving forward and breaking new ground. We can therefore say that ATS Inspect 5.5 is at the forefront of attribute and variable data collection.

The following list shows the main developments contained in the new version

Reference Documents for Checklist Questions

To aid operators, reference documents, such as text files, PDFs and images can now be associated to checklist questions which can then be viewed by the operator answering the checklist questions in Data Collect. The files that can be displayed are limited only by the available viewers installed on the client machine.

Checklist Questions can be Supplemented with Reference Documents

Checklist Question Filters

Having dozens of questions to wade through trying to find the few that you haven’t answered can be quite irksome. For that reason we’ve added an optional filter that’ll allow the operator to view only questions that haven’t been answered or contain an out of spec answer. When time is of the essence this significant addition could make all the difference

Oracle Databases

Our customers running Oracle databases will now enjoy all of the existing and latest functionality, from version 4.1 to version 5.5. No complex porting or middle layer – just a simple, direct integration between the software and your data.

Support for Languages with Double-Byte Characters

ATS Inspect now Supports in Languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean etc.

Multiple Service Instances

It is now possible to run multiple instances of some services on the application server. Each service can then connect to a different database

Multiple Service Instances Allow Connections to Different Databases

Tracking Point Groups in Triggers

Tracking Point groups can now be selected, as well as individual tracking points, when creating Quantity per Time and Quantity per Unit triggers. This means that units that go by any of the tracking points in the group and satisfy the other variables will cause the trigger to go off and a notification to be sent. Instead of creating an individual trigger for each tracking point you can now create one that covers them all

And Much More …

We’ve also improved the setup process in several areas. For example, the method of associating reference documents to parts, concerns and repairs has been improved to give it a more intuitive approach. Also, when browsing through checklist questions in Inspect Admin you can now filter the list using a search field. By listening to the customers and operators who are using our products on a day to day basis we can identify and carry out those small changes that make the biggest difference
