HSI Sensing Introduces Extreme Temperature Sensors
HSI Sensing, a reed switch and sensor manufacturing company based in Chickasha, Oklahoma, introduces Extreme Temperature, a technology that increases the high and low operating temperature of their proximity sensors.
Products with Extreme Temperature technology can operate between minus 60 degrees Celsius and 200 degrees Celsius. Most of HSI’s standard products operate between minus 40 degrees Celsius and 125 degrees Celsius. This technology expands the capabilities of HSI’s current line of products.
“Through research and development, we have developed a technology that expands the environments and applications our sensors can be used in,” said Ryan Posey, president of HSI Sensing. “Extreme Temperature technology will be very useful in many different industries, ranging from fluid controls to aerospace.”
Extreme Temperature technology can be applied to many of HSI’s standard products through its rapid solutions or custom engineering services. Currently, Extreme Temperature is offered standard on six different sensors.
