Protecting Your CCTV Cameras
Today STI is announcing the addition of protective housings for closed circuit TV cameras to its rapidly expanding STI Stopper® Line to help stop false fire alarms, vandalism and theft of fire/security equipment.
"They're both a highly practical and inexpensive way to help ensure the continuous operation of vitally-important CCTV security TV cameras," said Margie Gobler, STI president and CEO. Constructed of aluminum with moisture resistant cord grips for cable penetration, they help protect cameras from harsh indoor/outdoor environments as well as physical abuse and accidental damage.
Two aluminum models are available-one basic unit (STI-7000K) and another with a heater, blower and sunshield (STI-7100K). Power source for the heater/blower is 24 VAC. Easy access for servicing and installation. Each unit has a spring assisted forward opening lid, a rear link-lock latch and includes a mounting bracket. STI offers a two-year warranty on the enclosure, bracket and electronics under normal use.
