The strong axial flow pumping characteristics of the impellor creates a flow towards the bottom of the vessel that will force the particles from the bottom, suspending them in the product. The advancement of the impellor shape and style allows the flexibility to position the impellor as low as 1/2 or as high as three times the impellor diameter off the bottom for batch volume flexibility.
