Cashco Releases New PA1 Regulator

Ellsworth, Kansas, USA – With the introduction of a new Model PA1 pressure reducing regulator, Cashco Inc., has held true to its commitment to match industry growth in sanitary and bio-pharmaceutical applications.

“Like three other new regulators we recently introduced, the PA1 is designed for gaseous applications and is offered in 1/2" and 3/4" Tri-Clamp® body connections,” explains Clint Rogers, General Manager, Valve Division, Cashco, Inc. “Design parameters also ensure that all wetted, metal parts are constructed of 316L stainless steel and are machined to meet SFV-4, while all of the soft goods meet FDA code of Regulations Title 21, Part 177 USP Class VI acceptance criteria.”

As Rogers explains, the PA1 incorporates a self-draining body design and trims that comply with ASME BPE 2012 SF-4. Equally important, the valve is capable of withstanding inlet pressures up to 250 psig and outlet pressures up to 135 psig. Insertion of a pin and lanyard provide the means necessary for Steam-In-Place and Clean-In-Place processes.

The PA1 also comes with the option of either a 316L stainless steel metal seat or USP Class VI PTFE soft seat to match the needs of a broad range of customer applications. Meanwhile, the standard knob mounted on the adjusting screw makes adjusting set points easy for the end-users, while the standard EPDM diaphragm ensures a long cycle life.
