Portable Blackbody certifies infrared thermometers.

Press Release Summary:

Model 9133 is factory calibrated and NIST traceable to be accurate to ±0.7°F, has heating and cooling times of about 15 min., and certifies IR thermometers over temperature ranges from -22° F to 302° F. It has 2.25 in. temperature controlled blackbody target with emmissivity of 0.95. Target accuracies of ±0.075°C can be achieved by using contact well, located behind the blackbody surface and optional calibrated PRT and readout device.

Model 9133 Certifies IR Devices from -30*C (-22*F)

Hart Scientific's new portable blackbody certifies infrared thermometers to -30°C (-22°F) in normal ambient conditions. At the upper end of its range, the 9133 provides stable temperatures to 150°C (302°F).

The 9133 is factory calibrated (NIST traceable) to be accurate to ±0.4°C (±0.7°F), and has heating and cooling times of about 15 minutes. The 9133 also features a large 2.25" (57 mm) temperature controlled blackbody target with an emmissivity of 0.95.

For even higher precision, target accuracies of ±0.075°C can be achieved by using the contact well, located directly behind the blackbody surface, and an optional calibrated PRT and readout device.

Priced at $3,495 the 9133 is currently available.
