Thomas Model 260 BLDC Compressor with Unprecedented Levels of Mobility and Efficiency



The new 260 WOB-L Piston air compressor from Thomas offers higher flow capability than the 250 Series and features aluminum components that help reduce its weight to a mere 1.9 lbs. It is also very quiet and delivers smoother running across all speed curves. It offers BLDC technology that delivers low power consumption for long battery life and can be run at variable speeds ranging from 1000 to 3000 rpm allowing the flow to be varied dependent upon application requirements. An optional closed loop controller allows motor speed to be maintained at a pre-set, constant speed regardless of load or voltage fluctuations.

The 250 Series pump is extremely small (4.25"x4.54"x3.02") and the enclosed crankcase further reduces sound. Maximum flow is 1.2 CFM (2000 rpm) - 1.6 cfm (3000) rpm. Maximum pressure is 30 psig and maximum vacuum is 22" Hg. The standard head configuration offers 1/8-28 BSPT threaded ports. The pump is well suited for medical, pharmaceuticals, business machines, and instrumentation where small size and and the ability to control speed is critical.
