TDL® Technology, Inc. announces their Model 4041, a rack-mount version of their model 404A Stereo RIAA Phono Preamp for both moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) pickup cartridges. The model 4041 features operation from either the internal rechargeable batteries or from the power mains. They have developed a very low noise power supply which is nearly as quiet as battery operation. All of the other specifications are the same as for the 404A including internal switch selection of the cartridge load resistance and maximum gain. The 4041 is powered from a DC wall supply (furnished) and the rack-mount enclosure has extensive internal shielding to minimizes the pickup of unwanted interference.
