Brampton, ON, May 14, 2002 - Fast and sleek with the tightest turning radius in its class. Need we say more? Introducing the PWB45 4,500 lb electric walkie pallet truck from Blue Giant - a totally new approach to powered pallet management.
The sculpted profile symbolizes the machine's dynamic performance. Inside, a powerful vertically mounted SepEx motor provides maximum torque throughout the entire speed range. No directional contactors, therefore less maintenance. The 24volt programmable controller provides smooth and seamless control with infinitely variable forward, reverse, drive and braking functions, plus automatic "neutral braking" on throttle release.
An ergonomically correct handle provides comfort and safe handling of pallets as it leads the operator into the tightest turning radius imaginable; only 60.5" with 48" long raised forks to be exact. Minimal steering effort, dead-man braking activation and automatic creep speed for better operator control is also featured.
Quick serviceability was another objective. Solid pull connecting rod system with infinite adjustments for fork leveling without the need to remove the wheel/rod assembly has been incorporated into the design. The heavy-duty swing out battery compartment door panels provides quick inspection and immediate access to all four batteries without the need to lift and remove cumbersome covers.
