Priced very competitively, P1-10" Powerstation provides 10" monochrome or color touchscreen display, Pentium 166 MHz CPU, 10/l00Base Ethernet, Compact Flash memory, and pre-installed core HMI

MILFORD, OHIO (May, 2002) - Parker Automation-CTC expands its PowerStation family of P1 appliance-level operator interfaces with a new P1-10" model. The control maker's most affordable 10"
PC-based operator interface, the new P1-10" comes standard with touchscreen display, core HMI functionality, rugged Compact Flash storage media, Pentium 166 MHz CPU, 10/l00Base Ethernet,
RS232/422/485 serial ports (3), and keyboard/mouse ports. It is available with either monochrome or color (TFT) 10" display. The new model continues CTC's expansion of P1 Powerstations from a single 6" model into a family of appliance-level displays in meeting market needs for application flexibility. The P1-10" provides an appealing upgrade for panel replacement, along with the connectivity and expandability of an open platform. The larger screen lets OEMs enhance screen layouts and readability,
or offer a larger screen as a machine control option. Starting at $2495 for monochrome version, the P1-10" gives OEMs an operator interface with pre-installed HMI at extremely competitive pricing, claims CTC.

The P1-10" comes standard with the core modules of CTC's popular Interact HMI - panels tools, graphics, alarming and networking. It can also be bundled with optional Interact HMI modules and
CTC's MachineLogic(TM) PC-based control software, providing one of industry's most affordable solutions to PC-based operator interface with a 10" display.

Industrially-hardened like all CTC PowerStations, the P1-10" model features Compact Flash storage memory for high reliability in factory-floor runtime environments, avoiding potential reliability problems CTC expands appliance-level line of P1 operator interfaces, bundles 10" display with HMI in new P1-10" PowerStation with rotating disk drives. It comes standard with 16 MB Compact Flash memory and offers 32 MB and 128 MB as options. Designed to NEMA 4/4X standards, the P1-10" carries UL, CUL, and CE approvals. Suited to a wide range of industrial environments, it is rated for temperatures from 32°-122°F (0-50°C) and relative humidity from 5-95%. The P1-10" also offers slots for PC/104 expansion and measures 11" x 13.75" x 4.3" (279 x 349 x 110 mm) in H-W-D and weighs 13.4 lbs. (6.07 kg).

Since 1980, CTC has been designing, manufacturing, and marketing both hardware and software to provide factory-floor, machine-operator-interface solutions for automation projects worldwide.
