December 29, 2003, LEXINGTON, KY - Parker Hannifin now provides a full selection of o-rings engineered to meet the sealing requirements of ISO 6149 metric tube fittings. The ISO 6149 standard was created to minimize the proliferation of port connection designs and to promote leak-free connections. The Parker o-rings are dimensionally optimized to perform in ISO 6149 tube fitting designs. Typical uses for these elastomer o-rings include hydraulic lines, fuel and coolant lines in diesel engines, and other applications requiring seals that resist both extrusion forces and hydraulic media.
