TRD Now Offers NFPA Stainless Steel Tie-Rod Cylinders
September 1, 2001, Monee, Illinois - TRD Manufacturing, a Bimba Company, now offers NFPA stainless steel body tie-rod cylinders. The stainless steel series is ideal for food processing applications; chemical, medical, or pharmaceutical; offshore or marine equipment; and energy production or waste management.
The TRD stainless steel product line includes the SS series tie-rod cylinders. These cylinders feature a pre-lubed design that eliminates the need for additional lubrication. A 250psi pneumatic version is standard and a 400psi non-shock hydraulic version is optional. Available with single or double rod end; oversized rods; and bore sizes ranging from 1-1/2" to 8".
Also offered are the SS-NR series tie-rod cylinders, a non-rotating version of the SS cylinder. Available in bores sizes 1/1/2" to 8". A third series available is a multi-stage tie-rod cylinder. Cylinders SS-MSE/MSR are available in two, three and four stage force multiplying models. Both 125psi pneumatic and low-pressure hydraulic versions are offered in bore sizes from 1-1/2" to 6". Accessories offered include all stainless steel alignment couplers, switches, and rod clevis and mounts.
