Shat-R-Shield® Adds 30,500 Lumen LED High Bay Fixture
Salisbury, N.C. - Shat-R-Shield has broadened their portfolio of LED High Bay fixtures to include a 280 watt, 30,500 lumen option for ceiling heights above 30 feet. At 109 lumens per watt, this fixture consumes approximately 40% less energy with triple the life hours in comparison to its 450 watt metal halide lamp counterpart.
The 280 watt version is an addition to Shat-R-Shield’s line of industrial LED fixtures that includes a 200 watt, 18,000 lumen High Bay and 100 watt, 10,500 lumen Low Bay. The traditional aesthetic design allows customers to comfortably switch their fixtures without disrupting the overall appearance of their facility. The heavy-duty hook, preinstalled set screw and safety loop provides for ease of installation and added security while affording them the benefits of instant on/off, no threat of glass or arc tube rupture and a drastic reduction in heat output in comparison to antiquated light sources. The choice of prismatic or aluminum reflectors with optional lens cover helps to control beam spread for either omnidirectional light output or for more concentrated distribution.
Key features include a patent-pending design of heat fins on the driver box in addition to the extruded aluminum heat sink that optimizes thermal management by pulling heat away from both the LEDs and the driver in order to prolong the life of the electronics. This benefit allows a lifetime of L70 >55,000 hours and projected L71 of 224,000 hours, backed by a seven-year limited warranty. Other enhancements include 0-10V dimming and options of 120-277V or 347-480V drivers.
Shat-R-Shield’s LED High and Low Bay fixtures are 5000 K, 80 CRI and have an operating temperature of -40 F to 122 F (-40 C to 50 C). Certifications include UL, cUL, UL Damp Location and are DLC, Lighting Facts and RoHS certified.
