WIN Enterprises Announces 2U Rackmount Network Platform with Intel Core i3/i5/i7 (formerly Haswell) and 10x GbE LAN
NORTH ANDOVER, MA, – WIN Enterprises, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of embedded controllers and platforms for OEMs, announces The PL-80490, a 2U rackmount platform designed to support network services. The unit features the Intel® H81 Express chipset, a single-chipset design that supports socket LGA1150 4th generation Intel® Core™ i7/i5/i3/ Pentium® /Celeron® processors.
Improved performance is provided by utilizing serial point-to-point links. This provides increased bandwidth and stability. PL-80490 is built with Intel® Embedded IA components to ensure extended active component availability.

The platform supports two un-buffered and non-ECC DDR3 1333/1600 MHz DIMM sockets with a maximum capacity of up to 16 GB. Storage includes two 3.5" SATA HDD and CompactFlash™. The PL-80490 provides 10x GbE LAN ports easily accessible on the front-panel. The front panel also features two USB 2.0 ports, a RJ-45 console port and LED indicators that monitor power, bypass and storage activities. The PL-80490 is RoHS, FCC and CE compliant.
