Agilent Technologies Announces Hardware Upgrade for ENA Network Analyzers

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE: A) today announced the latest upgrade of the company’s E5071C ENA series network analyzer’s digital hardware, with no price increase. The measurement cycle time of the new hardware is two times faster than that of any other competitive RF network analyzer.

“We are giving new and existing ENA customers more performance with our digital hardware renewal program,” said Hisao Yamaoka, marketing manager, Agilent’s Component Test Division. “The new enhancements to the ENA continue to reinforce our commitment to give customers the capabilities they need to handle their high-speed measurement challenges.”

The digital hardware upgrade options are available on all Agilent E5071C configurations. The upgrade replaces earlier 1.3-GHz or 1.86-GHz Intel Celeron processors with the 2.53-GHz Intel Core i7 processor, which delivers 2x to 5x faster save/recall time depending on the previous processer and settings. The upgrade also changes the E5071C ENA storage device from HDD to SSD, which boots more than 30 percent faster.
