Bag Filter Handles Flow Rate Up To 4500 Gallons Per Minute
The MAXILINE(TM) MBF HD multi-bag filter housing from Hayward Industrial Products, Inc. is available in a 24 filter bag model that will handle flow rates of up to 4500 gpm. The housing is available in either carbon steel or stainless steel construction.
Replacing filter bags has always been a problem on large size bag filter housings because of the difficulty of removing the large, heavy cover. The MAXILINE MBF HE solves this problem by incorporating a hand wheel operated davit cover into its design. When it's time to replace the filter bags, the bolts holding the cover in place are loosened. The davit hand wheel is then turned to raise up the cover so that it can be moved aside for access to the filter bags. This completely eliminates the need for overhead lifting devises or hoists of any kind. As an option, a hydraulic assisted davit cover is available.
The MAXILINE MBF HD is designed to accept the thousands of different size 02 filter bags available from Hayward with micron ratings of from 1 to 1200 microns. And the MBF HD will also work with most other standard 7" X 32" filter bags. The housing comes with a unique 3-point bag hold-down or a bayonet fitting to ensure an excellent seal between each filter bag and the housing body to prevent by-pass.
For applications with lower flow rates models of the MAXILINE MBF HD are available in sizes that accept from 3 to 22 filter bags. All models come standard with an ASME "U" Code Stamp and are made in Hayward's ISO 9001:2000 certified manufacturing facility. Flanged end connections are available in 3" to 14" sizes. Buna N is the standard O-ring cover seal with Viton is available as an option.
