Motorized Force Tester with 18" Travel Distance

Mark-10 introduces their new Model ESM301L force tester, designed for product integrity testing in quality control, manufacturing, and R&D areas. With a load capacity of 300 lbF (1.5 kN), the ESM301 is ideal for a range of testing applications including spring testing, peel testing, tensile testing, wire pull testing, and many other applications in virtually every industry. Full 18" travel distance accommodates high elongation requirements such as tensile testing of plastics, rubber, and other elastic materials. The ESM301L joins the more compact ESM301, which has a travel distance limit of 11.5".

The ESM301L may be programmed and controlled via its front panel or via PC. Unique "build-your-own" configurability allows the user to purchase individual features at time of order, or through a simple activation procedure in the field.

PC control enables the user to control the ESM301L through a custom program or through legacy Nexygen(TM) TCD control software. Travel distance information is displayed on the front panel through an integrated linear scale. The tester can be programmed to stop at or cycle between travel positions, force values, or limit switches. Integrated overload protection protects Mark-10 and other force gauges from overloading during testing. Modular mechanical design makes remote configuration possible.

The ESM301L is compatible with Mark-10 digital force gauges and gripping fixtures.
