Original Press Release:

Cost Effective Modular Pallet Conveyor System

Materials handling specialist Industrial conveying has developed a cost effective set of modular pallet conveyor sections that can easily be assembled in any configuration to meet requirements in all industries ranging from industrial processing through to sensitive and food grade sectors.

Cost effective modularity is gained through pallet conveyor sections that include twin and triple chain conveyors, powered roller conveyors and transfers for use with Australian Standard pallets for weights up to1200 kilograms.

These modular conveyor sections are assembled in 1.5m, 3.0m, 4.5m and 6.0m lengths. Conveyors of non standard lengths, widths and loads are also available.

Optional painted mild steel or aluminium plate decking for the twin and triple chain conveyors is available as an added safety feature or for specific applications where cleanliness is a priority - such as in the pharmaceutical and food industries.

Conveyor drive units can be fitted with a shaft mounted external motor or an internal motor arrangement as a standard option.

The design utilises pressed steel side members and bolted construction using many common components for versatility and simplicity in assembly, to meet specific customer requirements.

Sealed for life bearings, drive shaft assembly, tail shaft assembly and replacement chain track/guide assemblies reduce maintenance costs and down time, should they ever need replacing.

Conveyor design requires a minimum of supports. Standard supports are adjustable and are arranged for quick and easy installation.

Design meets all OH&S and Australian standards. Maintenance is minimal and normally only requires regular house keeping to keep it in good operating condition.

Simple and complex control systems can be supplied as a standalone system or integrated with other in-house systems and networks.

A stock of common components used in the assembly of the modular conveyor system substantially improves delivery time.
