Heyco® Modular Connector System Provides Flexibility to Plug Multiple Light Fixtures Together, Make End-To-End Connections in Coves and Under Cabinets, and Make End-To-Side Connections for 90° Turns
Heyco Products, Inc., a leading ISO9001:2008 US-based designer and manufacturer of wire protection products and power components, has announced availability of their new Heyco® Modular Connector System.
The Modular Connector System can be used for residential and commercial lighting installations, provides installation flexibility, and helps keep down high labor costs when plugging light fixtures together, making end-to-end connections in coves or under cabinets, and end-to-side connections to make 90° turns.
The system’s small (5/8” diameter) patented, keyed-three conductor male and female connectors for plugging light fixtures together are designed for 120V-7A use, feature snap-in construction for insertion into DD holes without rotation, and provide 1/16” spacing between fixtures when plugged together in coves or under cabinets.
The system’s 120V-7A power cords and jumpers are used for end-to-end connections in coves or under cabinets, and end-to-side connections to make 90° turns. The cords and jumpers are available with daisy chaining capabilities with 18/3, SP-2 wire, and are also available with an 18/3, SPT-2 power cord.
The male and female connectors are constructed of Nylon 6/6 and Alloy 260 brass, have a 94V-2 flammability rating, and are a recognized component under UL File E231361. The power cords and jumpers are constructed of PVC and Alloy 260 brass, have a 94HB flammability rating, and are listed under UL File E217650.
