Overview
The V.90 Data/Fax Soft Modem is an easy and affordable product for downloading files, accessing the Internet, or sending e-mail and fax documents from a PC. The modem is compatible with current ThinkCentre(TM) desktop PCs. It facilitates IT support, product rollouts, and transitions.
Additionally, in third quarter 2003, IBM intends to release a V.92 protocol upgrade via Web site download. The V.92 software upgrade can help make faster connections and improve download speeds.
The two key V.92 features included are:
o Quick connect
o Modem on hold
