Miniature Pressure Sensor supports on-vehicle applications.

Press Release Summary:

Supplied in all welded stainless steel housing measuring 0.49 x 1.31 in., Model ASUH is designed for use in rugged environments from -65 to +300°F. Hybrid unit offers ranges from 0–70 psi through more than 0–6,000 psi in sealed gauge. Reliability is enhanced by at least 250% proof pressure rating for all ranges. With standard output of 0.5–4.5 Vdc from either 5 Vdc or 8–16 Vdc, modular transmitter is suited for monitoring parameters such as oil, fuel, air, hydraulics, and brakes.

PMC Introduces New High Integrity Miniature Pressure Sensor for Test & Measurement

The ASUH miniature Hybrid high integrity pressure transducer is a smaller lightweight addition to the existing well established AS Series.  It is designed for use in rugged environments from -65 to +300ºF and vibration levels of more than 20g. Its small all welded stainless steel housing of 0.49” diameter x 1.31” weighs just 0.4 oz (excluding the cable).

The ASUH offers ranges from 0-70psi through more than 0-6000psi in sealed gauge, and reliability is further enhanced by at least a 250% proof pressure rating for all ranges.

This new transmitter is designed specifically for on-vehicle use including Motorsports and can also be used in a wide range of development, prototype and production testing applications such as dynamometers, engine test stands, wind tunnels and many more. For on-vehicle applications it is ideal for monitoring parameters such as oil, fuel, air, hydraulics, brakes, etc.  Modular construction provides flexibility in the selection of both process and electrical connectors to suit different applications. Standard output of 0.5-4.5Vdc, from either 5Vdc or 8-16Vdc is provided.
