This new Microdrive weighs less than a AA battery, has a footprint measuring less than one square inch, and can hold almost 2800 times more data or images than a diskette. It offers high performance for applications that have high data/image and portability requirements.
The 4 GB Microdrive uses HDD technology to store information. The PC Card lets you share data with other ThinkPad notebooks and devices. It has an industry-standard Compact Flash Type II form factor, and included PC Card adapter so you can plug the Microdrive into a Type II PC card slot2.
