GE Lighting Introduces Breakthrough Metal Halide Technology: StayBright(TM) Multi-Vapor® Lamps

GE Lighting's New Product Delivers 22 Percent More Light Over Life and Pulse-Start Performance

To make sure your lighting environment looks great - and, more important, stays looking great - GE Lighting has introduced its new StayBright(TM) Multi-Vapor® lamps. This GE exclusive metal halide product delivers 22 percent more light over life (mean lumens), the highest maintained lumens of any standard CW/CWA system.

GE's StayBright Multi-Vapor Lamps are ideal for applications in retail ceilings, industrial facilities, floodlighting, warehouses, as well as general lighting needs. The product design features an integral pulse-start technology that provides "pulse-start" performance on standard CW/CWA ballasts, eliminating the need for new ignitor systems or fixtures.

According to Craig Witsoe, GE Lighting's general manager-high intensity discharge, "StayBright's higher maintained lumens mean you can extend the relamp cycle - which substantially reduces lamp replacement and maintenance costs. And with lamps that stay bright longer, you'll have a brighter, more attractive and productive facility."

StayBright Multi-Vapor lamps are a direct replacement of existing metal halide lamps. They are available in both clear and coated 400-watt versions.
