Medium Duty Shredder Reengineered to Meet New Standard for Top Secret Destruction



WESTBORO, MA - The Model 244/3 shredder from Security Engineered Machinery, the largest direct supplier of document destruction equipment in the United States, has been reengineered to meet all new DoD standards for shredding COMSEC material. The cross-cutting shredder head produces a final particle size of 0.9mm x 4.2mm. A 10¼" throat width shreds up to 10 sheets at a time. The unit also features automatic start/stop for hands free operation and a bag full/door open shutoff and indicator light.

The 244/3 is equipped with a model LK-1 automatic oiling system to maintain proper lubrication of the cutting head, for improved performance, extended life and increased throughput. The Model 244/3 is powered by a 1 HP motor and operates on 115V/1/60 HZ power. European voltages are also available. Units ship fully assembled with one case of bags and one case of oil.
