Fort Loramie, OH – Select-Arc, Inc. has introduced an outstanding martensitic alloy electrode that is designed to be an excellent, all-purpose choice for general welding maintenance.
SelectWear 58 is a metal-to-earth wear welding wire that can be put down in multiple layers without cracking. Offered in gas-shielded or open-arc versions, SelectWear 58 combines high hardness with good balance between abrasion and impact resistance.
Available in diameters from .035” – 1/8”, SelectWear 58 is used in such critical hardsurfacing applications as debarking knives, agricultural tillage tools, chisel plows, dredge components, earthmoving bucket lips and pipe hardbanding.
