Florence, SC - The newest addition to ESAB's HandyPlasma line of manual plasma cutting machines, HandyPlasma 250 conveniently operates on standard 110/115 V input and cuts up to 1/4 in. (6.35 mm) carbon or stainless steel. At just 16 lbs. (7.3 kg), HandyPlasma 250 is lightweight and portable enough to travel to any job site. This machine is ideal for contractors, maintenance crews, body shops and rural sites that do not have easy access to 230 V outlets. More economically priced than most competitive 3/8" machines, HandyPlasma 250 delivers powerful performance on a budget.

The single phase machine arrives fully assembled and ready to cut, complete with torch, spare parts, air filter/regulator, input power cord with plug, and work cable with clamp. Output is 20 amps @ 20% duty cycle. The compact torch features a double-ended electrode to reduce operating cost. Other features include a side-mounted pressure gauge, externally mounted and adjustable air regulator/filter, and automatic air purge when the unit powers on.
