HORIZONTAL MACHINE SUPPORTS PREVENT WALKING AND DISSIPATE ENERGY

A new line of horizontal supports that stop machines from "walking" and are designed to dissipate energy and reduce the shock which can break bolts and cause extensive damage to floors is being introduced by Airloc, a Division of Clark-Cutler McDermott Company of Franklin, Massachusetts.

Airloc Horizontal Wedgmount® Machine Supports absorb shock in a controlled fashion to stop injection molding machines and others which create extreme horizontal impact forces from walking. Featuring an integral high damping and cushioning mount that can dissipate up to 90% of those impact forces, each support has an adjustable resistance level, a heavy-duty structural steel bracket, and comes with three anchor bolts to the floor.

Superior to fixed machine supports, Airloc Horizontal Wedgmount Machine Supports eliminate the breakage of bolts and floor damage which can ruin floors and halt production. Offered in a wide variety of sizes that can withstand horizontal load forces ranging from 10,000 lbs. to 250,000 lbs. each, a typical machine installation includes four supports.
