New Holophane fixture for hazardous applications

GRANVILLE, Ohio - New Hazardous Wallpack IV luminaires from Holophane are designed to meet perimeter and security lighting requirements in a range of harsh environments. Holophane has extended the UL listing to include hazardous Class I, Division 2, making the fixtures suitable for petro-chemical, water and wastewater, pulp and paper, and power generation plants. Hazardous Wallpack IV luminaires include a borosilicate glass refractor for precise light control, which translates into fewer luminaires required to achieve specified light levels. The glass refractor never yellows from heat or UV, and the die cast aluminum housing resists corrosion. "Hazardous Wallpack units are designed to provide a high level of performance and maintenance ease," said Tamar Williamson, Holophane product manager. "The luminaires' versatility and durability makes them an excellent choice for a range of harsh environments."
