Product Applications: Solstice™ Mini AC 50W, PAR38 LED lamps are universal screw-in recessed ceiling-retrofits; equally suited for new construction. They provide highly functional, instant-on architectural/decorative replacements for any interior recessed ceiling downlight, presently using higher-watt, shorter-life ordinary incandescent, halogen, HID or compact fluorescents in recessed ceiling cans, track, architectural or low-bay installations.

Product Description: Solstice™ Mini AC 50W PAR38 LED represents state-of-the-electronic-art in low energy, ultra longlife, adaptable/flexible downlight illumination. Four color temperature choices encompass most interior applications and preferences; 2700K Warm White, 3500K Neutral White, 4000K Cool White, and 5700K Daylight White. Optics encompass 25-degree Narrow Flood, 50-degree Flood, and 75-degree Wide Flood.
In all, Solstice™ Mini AC provides exceptional ease of installation, adaptability/flexibility, highly energy-saving LED lighting performance, and negligible routine maintenance. Stable voltage and a built-in electronic LED driver employs constant-current technology.
Unit Construction: Solstice™ Mini AC 50W PAR38 LED employs vertically integrated quality-molded and extruded housing components. Unit lightbodies are 3.25 inches wide, 6.75 inches long from their direct medium screw-in base to their 4.75 inch-diameter lighthead cover. Each lighthead has a three-circle cluster of seven clear-lensed LEDs each; twenty-one premium Philips LED chips total. Lighthead and LED lens covers can be easily wiped on occasion of airborne dust.
Solstice™ Mini AC employs a custom, rigid circuit board directly under the lighthead cover. A built-in heatsink is located directly behind the circuit board. Unit bodies and covered lenses remain cool to the touch.Â
Above the heatsink is an active, whisper-quiet integral cooling fan, to maximize LED operating life. Units also employ over-temperature and under-voltage protection, in case of utility brownouts or shutdowns.
