Product Description: The Vulkan LED die-cast aluminum luminaire incorporates the latest LED technology to bring about an extensive selection of lumen packages and light distributions to satisfy illumination levels for wide range of outdoor lighting applications. The luminaire emits zero uplight above horizontal, making is suitable for use in all LEED lighting zones and Dark Sky applications.
The light modules consist of an aluminum core circuit board with 16 high power LEDs, which are fitted with individual lenses to produce six different light distributions. The modules are available in four different lumen outputs, and the luminaire will accommodate up to fourmodules for a total of sixteen different lumen packages, allowing users to configure the luminaire to specific illumination levels. Lumen packages range from 1,200 lumens at 12 watts to 14,000 lumens at 140 watts with a luminous efficacy approaching 119 delivered lumens per watt on some models. The LEDs have a lifetime exceeding 100.000 hours (L80) with very low lumen depreciation over time. Available color temperatures include 3000K, 4000K, or 5000K.
Vulkan LED features a unique mounting system which allows it to be side mounted to bracket arms with a diameter of 1 7/8- through 2 5/16-inches, or top mounted to a 3-inch O.D. pole top or tenon. The IP66 luminaire is wet location rated and is designed to operate in ambient temperatures ranging from-13°F through 122°F, making it suitable for a variety of demanding environments. Standard colors are RAL 7035 or dark grey. All hardware is stainless steel.
Vulkan LED is designed in Germany and assembled in the USA for the North American market, and is CSA-pending for wet locations.
