Ergodyne Debuts Kneeling Pad with Reflective Edge

Press release date: April 16, 2013

St. Paul, Minn. – Ergodyne announced today the addition of the ProFlex® 385RF Large Kneeling Pad with Reflective Edge to their popular Kneeling Pad Line, available May 2013. The new kneeling pad offers the trusted comfort workers have come to expect from the ProFlex® brand with the addition of reflectivity. The silver reflective stripes increase visibility – helping to ensure the kneeling pad will not be left somewhere it shouldn’t be and to provide further awareness of kneeling workers.

“Our customers have told us they need a kneeling pad that is easy to identify in low-light applications,” said Andy Olson, senior product manager. “Ergodyne knows a thing or two about reflectivity, so we promptly delivered this new solution – a kneeling pad that is meant to be seen and not left behind. This is especially important for applications such as aircraft manufacturing and maintenance where foreign object management is an issue.”

All ProFlex® Kneeling Pads (including new model 385RF) are constructed from silicone-free Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (NBR). Additionally, the closed-cell foam is non-conductive and resistant to petroleum-based substances like oil, fuel, and other chemicals.

“For static kneeling applications – nothing beats a kneeling pad. No straps to deal with and they can even be used to lie across depending on job needs,” said Tom Votel, president and CEO. “Add in some reflectivity for enhanced conspicuity, and we’ve got a winner on our knees.”

Ideal for applications where foreign object management is a priority workers in low-light environments, the new ProFlex® 385RF Large Kneeling Pad with Reflective Edge will be available May 2013 at all authorized Ergodyne distributors.
